Colors have different meanings in every culture. In Turkish cul-ture, colors meanings. Since these with are seen as a subject worthy of research the scientific world, scientists such Turks, Germans, Austrians and Hungarians done many valuable studies on colors. Studies shown how intertwined addition, it has been determined that colors, shamans shamanism provide an integrity. This determination ...
We addressed the problem of recovering or “rejuvenating” colors in a faded tapestry (the target image) by automatically mapping colors from digital images of the reference painting or cartoon (the source image). We divided the overall computational challenge into several subproblems, and implemented their solutions in Matlab: 1) quantizing the colors in both the tapestry and the referent painti...
Recent versions of objectivism can reply to the argument from metamers. The deeper rift between subjectivists and objectivists lies in the question of how to explain the structure of qualitative similarities among the colors. Subjectivism grounded in this fashion can answer the circularity objection raised by Dedrick. It endorses skepticism about the claim that there is some one property of obj...
A family of coupled nanostrips with varying dimensions is demonstrated exhibiting optical magnetic responses across the whole visible spectrum, from red to blue. We refer to such a phenomenon as rainbow magnetism. The experimental and analytical studies of such structures provide us with a universal building block and a general recipe for producing controllable optical magnetism for various pra...
Generic red, green, and blue images can be regarded as data sources of coarse (three bins) local spectra, typical data volumes are 104 to 107 spectra. Image data bases often yield hundreds or thousands of images, yielding data sources of 109 to 1010 spectra. There is usually no calibration, and there often are various nonlinear image transformations involved. However, we argue that sheer number...
We establish a coloring theorem for successors of singular cardinals, and use it prove that for any such cardinal μ, we have μ+ 9 [μ+]2 μ+ if and only if μ+ 9 [μ]θ for arbitrarily large θ < μ.
Several generators of graphs are developed and tested with the purpose of reening our knowledge of what makes a graph diicult to color optimally. We study the eeects of reduced variance on hardness, how much we can vary the parameterizations (i.e. n; p; k) that seem to delimit the diicult regions, and the interactions of several diierent algorithms in these diicult regions.
We exhibit a simplified version of the construction of a field of Morley rank p with a predicate of rank p − 1, extracting the main ideas for the construction from previous papers and refining the arguments. Moreover, an explicit axiomatization is given, and ranks are computed.
