Heterogeneous catalysis and their application in industrial-scale organic synthesis of fine chemicals are greatly facilitated by catalysis and further on by catalyst recovery and recycles to fits most “principles of green chemistry. In acid media, terpenoids generally undergoes various transformations. The terpenoid transformations include various liquid Bronsted and Lewis Acids, Acid clays, He...
The objective of this research work was to mask the intense bitter taste of fexofenadine hydrochloride using weak cation exchange resins and to formulate orodispersible tablet of taste masked drug-resin complex. Five resins indion 204, indion 234, indion 414, kyron T-114 and kyron T-314 were used. Depending on maximum drug loading capacity of resins indion 234 and kyron T-314 were finalized for...
The main objective of this study was to investigate biocompatibility and provide in vivo pharmacological and toxicological evidence for further investigation of the possibility of pH sensitive ion exchange resin microsphere for clinical utilizations. Acute toxicity study and general pharmacological studies were conducted on the pH sensitive ion exchange resin microsphere we prepared. The genera...

The lecithins of rat liver are resolved into three fractions by chromatography on a thin layer of silica gel impregnated with silver nitrate. Each of these fractions is placed in a small column containing a cation-exchange resin, and the lecithins are eluted free from silver nitrate. Recoveries average 96%.
A new aminoglycoside antibiotic, G-367 S1 (2'-N-formylsisomicin, C20H37N5O8) produced by a rare actinomycetes, Dactylosporangium thailandense G-367 (FERM-P 4840) has been isolated by column chromatography on a cation-exchange resin. G-367 S1 is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
