Terrestrial digital broadcasting services in Japan will start in 2003, and conventional analog broadcasting will be terminated in 2011. However, it has been reported that the mobile reception quality for the terrestrial digital broadcasting is significantly reduced for high bit rate transmissions such as high definition television broadcasting. In this study, the reception quality of terrestria...

We derive the optimal universal broadcasting for mixed states of qubits. We show that the no-broadcasting theorem cannot be generalized to more than a single input copy. Moreover, for four or more input copies it is even possible to purify the input states while broadcasting. We name such purifying broadcasting superbroadcasting.

Mechanical hill direct seeding of hybrid rice could be the way to solve the problems of high seeding rates and uneven plant establishment now faced in direct seeded rice; however, it is not clear what the optimum hill seeding density should be for high-yielding hybrid rice in the single-season rice production system. Experiments were conducted in 2010 and 2011 to determine the effects of hill s...

The study aims at developing communication strategies for the public broadcasting system according to WTP (Willingness to Pay) for the subscription fee and the audience’s perception of the public broadcasting system as a public good. A quasi-experiment was conducted for audiences who have previously watched public broadcasting channels. According to the results, those respondents who think of p...

Broadcasting is a process of information dissemination in a communications network whereby a message, originated by one member, is transmitted to all members of the network. By adding some redundant calls to the broadcasting scheme, the completion of the broadcast can be guaranteed in the presence of faulty components. We investigate the implications of transmission failures on broadcasting. In...

Recently, routing on dBG has been investigated as shortest path and fault tolerant routing but investigation into shortest path in failure mode on dBG has been non-existent. Furthermore, dBG based broadcasting has been studied as local broadcasting and arc-disjoint spanning trees based broadcasting. However, their broadcasting algorithms can only work in dBG(2,k). In this paper, we investigate ...

Problem statement: In mobile adhoc network, broadcasting is a common operation for route establishment and for sending control and emergency messages. Most of the existing broadcasting algorithms consider broadcasting from single source node and consider only single message broadcasting. Initiating multiple messages broadcasting from multiple sources is a challenging task which requires minimum...

Background: Media advertisements especially radio and TV are one of the most important and effective ways for health promotion and consumption of healthy productions worldwide. Ministry of Health and some other ministries in Iran agreed to control and restrict the advertising of unhealthy products and services. Therefore, adequate supervision and monitoring should be done in this field.  A...
