In this paper, we show that in each nite dimensional Hilbert space, a frame of subspaces is an ultra Bessel sequence of subspaces. We also show that every frame of subspaces in a nite dimensional Hilbert space has frameness bound.

This study was carried out to examine aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) removal ability of four strains of lactic acidbacteria (LAB). Three indigenous (Lactobacillus rhamnosus TMU094, Lactobacillus fermentum TMU121and Pedioccus pentosaceus TMU457) and a non-indigenous (Labacillus rhamnosus PTCC1637) isolateswere studied. The strains were incubated with (AFB1) at different time. The toxin residual in the supe...

We present an algorithm that achieves general syndrome decoding of a (n; k; r) linear rank distance code over GF(q m) in O((nr + m) 3 q (m?r)(r?1)) elementary operations. As a consequence, the cryptographic Al schemes Che94, Che96] which rely on this problem are not secure with the proposed parameters. We also derive from our algorithm a bound on the minimal rank distance of a linear code which...

Hemolytic-uremic syndrome is a clinical syndrome characterized by acute renal failure, microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, and thrombocytopenia that often follows infection by Shiga toxin- or verotoxin-producing strains of Escherichia coli. Because thrombocytopenia and platelet activation are hallmark features of hemolytic-uremic syndrome, we examined the ability of Shiga toxin to bind platelets...

Nephrotic syndrome increases L -thyroxine requirements because of urinary loss of free and protein-bound thyroid hormones. We report 2 hypothyroid patients referred to us because of high serum TSH, even though the L -thyroxine daily dose was maintained at appropriate levels or was increased. The cause of nephrotic syndrome was multiple myeloma in Received: December 12, 2014 Accepted after revis...
