In this paper, we study the Dirichlet problem of inhomogeneous infinity Laplace equation with strong absorptions: style='text-indent:20px;'> \begin{document}$ \begin{equation*} \begin{cases} \ \Delta_{\infty}u(x)-\lambda(x)(u(x))^{\gamma}_+ = f(x), &{\rm{in}}\ \Omega, \\ u(x) \phi(x), &{\rm{on}}\ \partial\Omega, \en...

Optimal control problems under conflict or uncertainties are considered on a finite time interval. Resolving dynamical procedures are suggested. They are based either on constructions of stable bridges produced with the help of step-by-step programmed absorptions or on applications of the backward dynamic programming method. Results of simulations illustrating the suggested methods are exposed.

The BChl a absorptions in the B800 spectrum of individual LH2 complexes from Rhodospirillum molischianum show sudden, reversible spectral jumps between a finite number of spectral positions. From our data, we conclude that these fluctuations result fromconformational changes of the protein backbone in close vicinity of the chromophores which provides a sensitive tool to monitor local modulation...

Laser-ablated Th atoms react with BF(3) during condensation in excess argon at 6 K to form the first actinide borylene (FB=ThF(2)) and actinide-boron multiple bond. Three new product absorptions in the B-F and Th-F stretching regions of matrix infrared spectra are assigned to FB=ThF(2) from comparison to theoretically predicted vibrational frequencies.

Twelve subjects participated in an open-label, single-dose, balanced three-way crossover study in which the absorptions of lomefloxacin were compared following (i) an overnight fast, (ii) a carbohydrate meal, and (iii) a high-fat meal. The time to peak concentration of lomefloxacin was delayed, but peak concentration in plasma and amount of drug absorbed were unchanged following both meals.
