The Effectiveness of Flourishing Education on Grit and Academic Engagement in Students (Case Study: Male and Female High School Students in Chalous)

چکیده مقاله:

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of flourishing education on gait stability and academic engagement in male and female high school students in Chalous. Method: This was an applied research and experimental research design using the framework of pre-test and post-test design consisting of experimental group and control group. The statistical population of this study consisted of male and female students studying in the second year of high school in Chalous in the academic year 1399-1399. The statistical sample of this study was randomly selected from the statistical population of 30 people and the experimental and control groups were randomly formed with 15 people each from the statistical sample. After determining the control and experimental groups, a session was held to familiarize and introduce the design and conduct the pre-test. The control group did not intervene during this period. The Rio and Tsang (2011) Academic Conflict Questionnaire and the Duckworth Stability Questionnaire (2007) were used to collect data. In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics methods (mean and standard deviation, lowest and highest score) were used. It is noteworthy that due to the existence of more than one dependent variable and the assumptions of multivariate analysis of covariance, single and multivariate analysis of covariance (Mankova) has been used. Conclusion: In the end, it was concluded that; Prosperity education has a significant effect on gait stability and academic engagement in male and female high school students.
