Introduction. Motives are the powerful force in process of education– learning, so that the richest and best training plans and structured education are not effective if the lack of motivation existed. In spite of the fact that the success of teacher depends on the learning motivation of students, then it is necessary for teachers to know the effective methods for motivating the students and the use of this methods. One of the original duties of teachers is establishing the necessary motivation for learning in order to increase the knowledge, technical skills, and orienting them with the advanced sciences and new methods of caring. So, with more recognition of effective factors in student’s motivation we can increase the active involvement in learning. Methods. In this study the active preceptors in clinical education were invited to participate in-group discussion regarding the study purpose. Then the questionnaire was distributed and efficient explanation stated. The results were analyzed with SPSS computerized software. Results. Data analysis demonstrated that regarding the internal effective factors, the highest score of mean respectively related to‹‹student’s competency and aptitude for clinical learning ››, ‹‹student’s interest to field››and ‹‹ student’s personal characteristics››and regarding external effective factors on learning motivation, the highest score of mean respectively allocated to‹‹teacher’s interest in education››, ‹‹the employment and social station of graduates›› and ‹‹encouragement››. From proposed methods for reinforcement the learning motivation almost more than half of teachers stated the importance of the recommendation role and responsibility towards students and their evaluation regarding the purpose of educational plan. Conclusion. The result of this study can help the teachers and clinical education directors in considering this factors and preparing the conditions for promoting towards a more effective clinical teaching
