چکیده مقاله:

from Karkhe river  (khouzestan , Iran) were determined. 84 sample were collected in the middle month of each season and Total fatty acid compositions were investigated by a gas chromatographic method. . The most abundant fatty acids in the (SFAs) of the liver and muscle were at the highest in the autumn and spring, respectively. The total monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) were at the highest in the summer, autumn for liver and in the autum, winter for muscle. the lowest total n-3 PUFA levels were for the liver  and muscle in the autum. n-3/ n-6 ratio  were at the highest in the spring for the both liver and muscle.

Seasonal Variations of Fat and Fatty Acid Composition in Muscle Tissues of Mediterranean Octopuses

The effects of seasons on lipid and fatty acid profiles of muscle types (mantle and arm) of Mediterranean octopuses (common octopus-Octopus vulgaris and musky octopus-Eledone moschata) were investigated. The results showed that lipid levels ranged from 0.75% to 1.60% in both muscle types of octopuses which were considered as lean. Lipid levels in mantle tissues of both octopus species were hig...

In this study, seasonal variations in the fatty acid profiles of the liver and muscle of Squalius cephalus from Tödürge Lake were determined by Gas Chromatography (GC). C22:6 n-3, C20:5 n-3, C20:4 n-6, C18:1 n-9, C18:1 n-7, C16:1 n-7, C18:0 and C16:0 were the principal fatty acids showing the highest levels in the muscle and liver of Squalius cephalus in all seasons. Although C22:6 n-3, which i...

Effects of seasonal variations on fatty acid content of muscle in Pampus argenteus caught from Persian Gulf

Since fish have large amounts of long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, they are considered a good source of food. In this study, fatty acid content and proximate composition of Silver Pomfret fish (Pampus argenteus) were investigated during winter and summer. For this purpose, the samples were collected from Bandar Lenge of Persian Gulf in 2016 and brought to the laboratory. The moisture, fat...
