Providing a Comprehensive Model of Promoting the Monitoring System in Sports Organizations with a Mixed Approach

Purpose: This research was conducted to develop a comprehensive model for improving the supervision system in sports organizations of the country. Methodology: In terms of purpose, the research was applied and developmental, and in terms of the method of data collection, it was a mixed type of sequential exploratory design. In the qualitative phase of the research, semi-structured interviews were used. The participants of this part of the research included 16 faculty members and experts related to the field of sports management who were selected by purposeful sampling. Qualitative data analysis was done using grounded theory and through three stages of open, central and selective coding. In the quantitative part, the research method is descriptive-survey and includes the distribution of a researcher-made questionnaire, whose propositions are the indicators extracted from the qualitative part. The statistical population at this stage was the employees of sports organizations, the sample size was selected in the quantitative section of 200 people. Partial least squares technique was used to test the hypotheses. Findings: Based on the research findings in the qualitative part, 69 open codes were identified in the form of 24 concepts and 11 main categories, which in the form of a paradigm model including causal conditions (productivity, administrative health), background conditions (individual platforms, transparency), intervening conditions (superstructure, infrastructure) , strategies (continuous evaluation) and consequences (intra-organizational and extra-organizational), were related to the core category of promoting the inclusive supervision system (general, dedicated and intelligent supervision). Conclusion: The results obtained in the quantitative phase showed that the proposed research model is valid.
