Factors Involved in Enrichment of Female Students’ Leisure Time in the City of Mashhad

In a heavily religious metropolis like Mashhad filling/enriching the female students’ leisure time is a challenge. Taking an educational-sporty approach, in the presently reported project, a sample of 250 female students from among all attending Imam Reza Schools in this city was given a questionnaire on how to enrich their leisure time. Based on the collected data, the students consider their leisure time activities lacking in three areas of skills, attitudes, and knowledge. As a result, adding different sports to the leisure time activities can be of great value to both students and their families, as that would help with the procurement of a healthy society and a constructive generation. Thus it is suggested that students be informed of numerous benefits that sports can provide if included in students’ leisure time activities.
