چکیده مقاله:
SUMMARY In this research, which was done for one year, we examined the stool of 35 HIV+ patients who had chronic, alternative, and usual drugs resistant diarrhoea, who were referred from infectious and Haemophilia wards of Imam Khomeini Hospital in Tehran. All of the stools were examined by different Bacteriologic, Mycologic, and parasitologic techniques, in order to find the etiology of their diarrhoea, except Viruses. The data showed that Candidiasis is the most prevalent intestinal infection in these patients (%71 of cases). And after that, the gastroenteritis was due to S. aureus, Acid Fast Bacillie, G, lamblia, & Microsporidia (%14.3 of cases), Ps. aeruginosa, and Cryptosporidium sp, (%11.4 of cases), Camp. jejuni (% 8.6 of cases), sal.para C, and, Is, belli, (%5.7 of cases), Sh. sonnei, Cl.difficile, Cyclospora sp, and E. histolytica (%2.9 of cases). 24 patients had more than one infectious agent, and in the stools of 3 patients, no Bactrial, Fungal, and Parasitic agents were found.
