abstract in the present research solution of chalcopyrite in sulfuric acid in hydrometallurgy method using electrochemistry with cyclic voltammetry technique has been investigated. the value of maximum reduction peak current of copper ions represents the measure of solubility. in this research different parameters temperature, potential, potential exert time, chalcopyrite concentration, sulfuric acid concentration, pyrite catalyzer concentration has been optimized. the advantage of this work compared with other works is upgrading optimized parameters using cyclic voltammetry technique. the optimized temperature 85c, optimized potential 1v, optimized potential exert time 1800s, optimized chalcopyrite concentration 7.7mm, optimized sulfuric acid concentration 1m and optimized ratio of 4 for pyrite to chalcopyrite has been obtained. keywords: hydrometallurgy, electrochemistry, cyclic voltammetry, chalcopyrite, pyrite.
