abstract this study is an attempt to determine the effect of nano- technology education on science lesson for fifth grade in primary school in the city of kermanshah. this research is experimental and is conducted in the from of pre-test and post- test for the control group. an achievement test was administered to determine the rate of learning in the students. the research is an applied one. in this study, we have used the covariance method or ancova to analyze the data by using spss. also, by using the t-test for independent groups, the effectiveness of the apprehension and dramatic methods in nano- technology education has been compared. this statistical universe includes all the students in grade five of primary schools of zone one of kermanshah , which includes 120 students in four classes (each class contains 30 students). the have been selected based on the random clustering multi- stage sampling method. research findings show that: 1. the apprehension method has an effect on nano- technology education in science lesson in grade five of primary school. 2. the dramatic method has an effect on the nano- technology education in fifth grade of primary school. key words: education , nano- technology.
