Introduction: Neurotensin (NT) is a tridecapeptide that binds specifically to neurotensin receptors. Several forms of cancer, including small cell lung cancer, colon, pancreatic and prostate carcinomas especially exocrine pancreatic carcinomas express receptors for neurotensin peptide.
