The Relationship between Spiritual Leadership School Managers and Educational Performance with the mediating role of Organizational Optimism in Elementary School Teachers

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between spiritual leadership school managers and educational performance with the mediating role of organizational optimism in elementary school teachers. The research applied in terms of purpose and method was descriptive, correlational one. The statistical population of the study included all elementary school teachers in neka in the number of 573. The statistical sample was 230 people using Krejcie and Morgan table, and stratified random sampling according to Gender level. Data were gathered by using three Questionnaires of spiritual leadership, educational performance & organizational optimism Questionnaires. Their reliability was calculated to 0.86, 0.87 and 0.84 respectively by the use of Cronbach Alpha. The collected data was used for analyzed by Structural equation modeling using the partial least squares method (PLS) soft-ware. The results of this study showed that there is a significant relationship between spiritual leadership and organizational optimism with educational performance. 61.6% of educational performance and 35.1% of organizational optimism is explained by spiritual leadership. And the organizational optimism variable has a mediator effect on the relationship between spiritual leadership and educational performance. Fit indices indicate that the proposed model is an appropriate fit.
