The Relationship between admission and operation and prospects for the future with psychological resilience and adaptation in mothers of children with intellectual disability

Aim: Considering the compatibility and the factors affecting it for promoting maternal health and improving parent-child relationship, especially in mothers of mentally retarded children, is important. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between acceptance and practice and the future perspective with psychological flexibility and adaptation in mothers of mentally retarded children. Method: This study is based on the method of collecting descriptive-correlation information and specifically on the basis of the path of analysis. The study population includes all mothers of mentally handicapped mentally handicapped 12 to 16 year olds in normal schools of Mashhad in the years 1995-96. The samples were 217 mothers of mentally retarded children selected through available sampling method. Data were analyzed by path analysis method including a set of regression equations using LISREL software. Results: Considering the fitness indices and considering that the value of RMSEA 08/0 and 0/08 / 0RMR, the fitting of the model is desirable. Also, in other indices, such as NNF NFI, NNFI, CFI, RFI, IFI, results are above 0.9, indicating an acceptable fit of the model. Conclusion: According to the results, we can say that the future of future time and acceptance and practice both directly and indirectly increase compatibility. Therefore, we can say that mothers of mentally retarded children are different in adaptation according to the acceptance of action and psychological flexibility, and by intervening to promote these variables, it can be increased the adjustment in mothers of mentally retarded children.
