Inclusion criteria included Persian-language research conducted in Iran, descriptive-analytical studies, full access to the full text of the article, and exclusion criteria included articles that included only abstracts, theses, and posters.   Results: A total of 172 articles were found in the literature review, which resulted in 137 useful articles. Then, with their abstract study, 23 articles that were in line with the research objectives were selected and reviewed. In Iran, the frequency of falls in Bojnourd was 30.9% (11), in Khoram abad 24.8% (18.8%), in Babol 35.1%, in Cheram 82.31%, and in Kashan (31.9%).   Conclusion: Evidence of falls in the elderly is very diffuse and varied. The frequency of falls among Iranian seniors is in the average range of other countries. Depending on the accuracy of the data, factors such as race and relatively low physical activity in the elderly in Iran, differences in method of study, different time periods, or definition of fall can also change the results. However, age, gender, physical and psychological illnesses have been a common risk factor. The findings of this study can be effective in describing the occurrence of the accident and its related factors in order to raise awareness of its occurrence and to prevent secondary injuries.
