Abstract:

The effect of native probiotic (mixtures of Lactococcus lactis and Lactococcus lactis ) on growth rate and  some of the hematological and immune system parameters of juvenile Huso huso were investigated.. One hundred fifty six Huso huso individual with average weight of 2.92±0. 16gr ± SD were fed by company Biomar diet (protein: 47%, lipid: 16%, carbohydrate:3/2%) that add probiotic to level of 0,150,300 and 450 mg/kg (PB0، PB150، PB300 and PB450). Fish were reared in fiberglass tank (500 lit) for 8weeks. In the end of rearing period, blood sample were attained and transferred to laboratory. Final weight (FW), body weight increase, (BWI), Specific Growth Rate and daily growth rate (DWG) significantly improved by Probiotic inclusion in diet (P <0.05). Fish fed withPB300 had highest of the   growth index (P <0.05).  A Significant increase of red blood cell and compliment (C3) were observed in fish fed PB150 and PB450  compared to control (P<0.05).The result showed that sturgeon native proiotic as a supplement can improved of  growth  index  in  juvenile Huso huso.

Effect of different stocking densities on hematological parameters and growth performance of great sturgeon (Huso huso)

A 5 weeks study was conducted to determine the effects of different stocking density on hematological parameters of great sturgeon. Fish were cultured in duplicates of fiberglass tanks under stocking densities of 50, 75, 100 and 125 fish/m3 as T1, T2, T3 and T4 respectively. Based on the results significant increase (p<0.05) in total body weight and total length were related to low density grou...
