The Comparision of Interactions Parent–Child and the Behavioral Problems Between Primary and Secondary enuresis

Background and Aim: The results of pervious researches in comparision psychological problems among primary and secondary enuresis has been inconstant. The aim of the present study was to compare the interactions between parent–child and the behavioral problems between these two subtypes. Methods: The present research design was of comparative type and its statistical population consisted of the unit for recognizing primary and the secondary enuresis in Isfahan province who have gone to the medical centers of this province in the first half of 1395. Sixty children aged five to thirteen from the hospitals and clinics of Isfahan having primary and the secondary enuresis (30 children with primary and 30 with secondary) were chosen as the sample. Then, CBCL(1991) questionnaire and parent-child interactions dimensions (1961) were completed by the parents of these two groups. SPSS software, Independent t tests and U Mann-Whitney were used to analyze the data of the study. Results: Although ,there was not observed significant difference,but, aggressive behaviors and externalizing behaviors and two interaction acceptance level and rejection were close to approval and were more in primary group. The interaction acceptance level was lower in primary group. Conclusion: The results indicated more behavioral problems and poor parent-child interactions of primary group oin comparision of secondary.
