Abstract:

One of the important goals of banks as important economic enterprises of any country is to increase economic efficiency. One of the important goals of banks as important economic enterprises of any country is to increase economic efficiency. The classical approach to data envelopment analysis models takes into account the linear valuation function for all indicators. But linear valuation in many examples of the world around us does not represent the non-linear nature of the indexes. Therefore, in this paper, we have introduced the principles of the model based on slack variables, some of which have nonlinear values. In a practical example of a bank, we reviewed the efficiency of ten branches of one of the country's banks in 1395 with a new approach. One of the important goals of banks as important economic enterprises of any country is to increase economic efficiency. Capacity utilization in data envelopment analysis with integer data

In the process of production, some of the inputs are fixed and cannot easily be changed, such as work hours of workers and hours of administrative or work, these types of inputs are fixed and others are variables. In this paper, by considering some inputs or outputs which are limited, their amounts must be integrated; this concept for integer data is extended. We show the importance of subject ...

A Data Envelopment Analysis Model with Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers

DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) is a technique for evaluating the relative effectiveness of decision-making units (DMU) with multiple inputs and outputs data based on non-parametric modeling using mathematical programming (including linear programming, multi-parameter programming, stochastic programming, etc.). The classical DEA methods are developed to handle the information in the form of cri...

Bank branches efficiency assessment using dynamic data envelopment analysis approach to SBM

A new approach or model to the dynamic DEA, referred to as the adjusted dynamic DEA, is proposed in this study. Adjusted dynamic DEA optimizes the production activity of DMUs by introducing adjustment variables to modify the interconnecting activities between consecutive terms, solving conflicts that arise between terms and between management and shareholders. The non-oriented SBM model is used...

Robust efficiency in data envelopment analysis with VRS technology

One of the fundamental problems in the classic DEA is lack of ability to distinguish unit's performance scores that is considered as a disadvantage. Recently, Parkan et al. [9] tried to address this problem.   They proposed to assess each unit both optimistic and pessimistic views are taken into account. In contrast to traditional evaluation, one index is considered for each unit based on the l...

Cost Efficiency Measures In Data Envelopment Analysis With Nonhomogeneous DMUs

In the conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA), it is assumed that all decision making units (DMUs) using the same input and output measures, means that DMUs are homogeneous. In some settings, however, this usual assumption of DEA might be violated. A related problem is the problem of textit{missing} textit{data} where a DMU produces a certain output or consumes a certain input but the val...
