Abstract:

Given the importance of increased rates of aggression and drug abuse among students, the aim of the present study was to investigate the emotional atmosphere of the family, the school climate and perceived social support for aggressive behavior and preparedness for addiction with the mediating role of extroversion among students. The method of research was analytical-correlative. The statistical population was composed of all high school students in Tehran during the 2017-2018 academic years.. significant. The schoolchr('39')s environment had a total and significant direct effect on the preparedness for addiction. The indirect effect of the schoolchr('39')s environment on irregular drug addiction has been identified. The hypothesized model showed full effect and non-significant direct effect of perceived social support on aggressive behaviour. The perceived indirect effect between social support and aggressive behavior was also significant. There was no direct or indirect effect between perceived social help with preparedness for addiction and the existence of extroversionchr('39')s mediating function. Teachers and school administrators will discuss the psychological environment of the parents, the school atmosphere and perceived social support.
