Abstract:

The Gol-e-Gohar metamorphic complex is located in the southeast of Sanandaj-Sirjan Zone, in Sirjan city (Kerman Province). According to EPMA data of the tourmaline in the biotite-amphibolite of the studied area, these tourmalines are high Mg tourmalines and dravite ones and belong to the alkaline series. The positive correlation between Mg and Fe contents, high contents of Mg in the studied tourmalines, as well as the negative correlation between Al and Fe/(Fe+Mg) and Ca vs. Na, are all indicative of the substitution of []AlNa-1Mg-1, which indicating that these minerals are not magmatic tourmalines, instead metamorphic minerals. It appears that the reason for the formation of this mineral can be related to the high presence of biotite in the studied rocks and boron-rich fluids that concentrated in interstitial fluids. The boron-rich fluids reacted with biotite and formed the studied tourmalines.

environmental effects of gol-e-gohar iron ore mine on groundwater of the area

gol-e-gohar iron ore mine of sirjan in southern part of iran is a large open pit that operates below the groundwater table and during mining operation, dewatering is required to prevent operation processes from flooding. current operation is going on by digging wells in or out of the pit and pumping to prevent flooding. as a result of the former dewatering operation a vast deep cone of depressi...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances
