Identifying the Effective Components on Rural Entrepreneurship Development: Case Study of Kurdistan Handicrafts

Purpose: Considering the importance of rural entrepreneurship development, the aim of this study was identifying the effective components on rural entrepreneurship development of Kurdistan handicrafts. Methodology: This study in terms of purpose was applied and in terms of implementation method was qualitative. The research population was of rural entrepreneurship development documents of the last 30 years and rural entrepreneurship development experts of Kurdistan province which number of 19 documents and 15 people of rural entrepreneurship development experts were selected as samples according to the principle of theoretical saturation with the purposeful sampling method. The research tool was note-taking of rural entrepreneurship development documents and depth and semi-structured interviews with experts, whose psychometric indicators were checked and confirmed. Data were analyzed with the open, axial and selective coding method based on the grounded approach in MAXQDA software version 2020. Findings: The findings showed that in the effective components on rural entrepreneurship development of Kurdistan handicrafts, for the causal conditions were identified the components of infrastructural factors, legal factors and cultural-social factors, for the background conditions were identified the components of economic factors, educational factors, educational factors and political factors, for the intervening conditions were identified the component of natural and ecological factors, for the central phenomenon were identified the component of individual factors, for the strategies were identified the components of ease of business start-up and individual and social empowerment and for the outcomes were identified the component of employment development and rural entrepreneurship. Finally, the pattern of effective components on rural entrepreneurship development in Kurdistan handicrafts based on the grounded approach was designed. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, it is necessary to plan for the rural entrepreneurship development in handicrafts according to the identified components
