Evaluation of Scattering Parameters (RESEARCH NOTE).
author
Abstract:
A simple algorithm is presented for evaluating scattering parameters of a two-port network. This technique uses the indefinite admittance matrix to calculate scattering or any other desired set of two-port parameters.

«research note» a review of foundations evaluation using seismic codes
abstract: the experience of last earthquakes has shown the vulnerability of most of structures. this has been caused the speeding up of the seismic evaluation and retrofitting of projects in iran. in this regard, the instructions for seismic rehabilitation of the existing buildings have been published and are currently beiong used in the evaluation and retrofitting projects. the experience of r...
full textAnalysis of Milling Process Parameters and their Influence on Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composites (RESEARCH NOTE)
Milling of fiber reinforced polymer composites is of great importance for integrated composites with other mating parts. Improper selection of cutting process parameters, excessive cutting forces and other machining conditions would result in rejection of components. Therefore, machining conditions are optimized to reduce the machining forces and damages. This work reports practical experiments...
full textEvaluation of Column-Tree Moment Resisting Connection with End Plates and Haunched Beam (RESEARCH NOTE)
The column-tree constructional schemes allows for a reliable and convenient erection of moment resisting steel frames. Strengthening of column-tree connection with a haunch part can significantly improve seismic behavior of whole system. In the current study behavior of column-tree connections with haunched beams and end plate splices have been investigated. Special attention was paid for evalu...
full textReliability and Performance Evaluation of Fault-aware Routing Methods for Network-on-Chip Architectures (RESEARCH NOTE)
Nowadays, faults and failures are increasing especially in complex systems such as Network-on-Chip (NoC) based Systems-on-a-Chip due to the increasing susceptibility and decreasing feature sizes. On the other hand, fault-tolerant routing algorithms have an evident effect on tolerating permanent faults and improving the reliability of a Network-on-Chip based system. This paper presents reliabili...
full textAnalysis of Inner Surface Roughness Parameters of Load-carrying and Support Elements of Mechanical Systems (RESEARCH NOTE)
Physical and mechanical regularities in the effect of certain processing operations on the shape and roughness of the hydraulic cylinder surface are found. The mechanisms of the spatial self-organization of the relief and surface of bearings under conditions of false brinelling are summarized and analyzed. The data obtained can be used for further scientific generalization or prediction and dia...
