Abstract:

In this paper, correlation between rock types and Cu mineralization obtained by Concentration-Number (C-N) fractal model calculated in Kushk-e-Bahram Cu deposit, Central Iran. This deposit is located in the Urumieh-Dokhtar magmatic arc (UDMA). The main subject in this study was determination of relation between the Cu grade populations and rock types based on subsurface data using logratio matrix. The C–N log–log plot reveals six geochemical populations which defined by Cu

Determination of relationship between silver and lead mineralization based on fractal modeling in Mehdiabad Zn-Pb-Ag deposit, Central Iran

Main aim of this study is to determine relationship between lead and silver mineralized zones using the Concentration-Volume (C-V) fractal modeling and logratio matrix based on subsurface data in Mehdiabad Zn-Pb-Ag deposit, central Iran. First, Pb and Ag raw data were analyzed by statistical processes and their histogram have similar shape. Next, Geostatistical modeling was carried out for the ...

Prospecting polymetallic mineralization in Ardestan area, Central Iran, using fractal modeling and staged factor analysis

The purpose of this study is to determine geochemical anomalies on lithogeochemical data from Ardestan area, Central Iran, using concentration-number (C-N) fractal modeling and staged factor analysis. Staged factor analysis is used to the recognition of genetic correlation and elimination of non-indicator elements in three steps. Factor scores of elements were calculated and geochemical data cl...

Detection of Main Rock Type for Rare Earth Elements (REEs) Mineralization Using Staged Factor and Fractal Analysis in Gazestan Iron-Apatite Deposit, Central Iran

Gazestan magnetite-apatite deposit is located in Central Iran and Bafq region, which has been occurred in form of veins, veinlets, and small apatite lenses as well as magnetite in metasomatic rock types such as green chlorite-actinolite rock units. These rocks are situated in the carbonate-volcanic complex of Upper Precambrian-Lower Cambrian Rizo formation. In this study, staged factor analysis...

Investigation of mineralization and fluid inclusions of the Lapeh-Zanak copper deposit, Central Alborz zone, Iran

The Lapeh-Zanak copper deposit is located about 15 km east of Tehran, in the southern part of the Central Alborz Zone. The rock units exposed in this area include a sequence of volcanic and pyroclastic rocks (basalt, andesite, trachy-andesite and dacitic and vitric tuff) belonging to the Fajan Formation with the Paleocene-Lower Eocene age, which are cut by subvolcanic igneous masses with a comp...

Correlation between IP and Rs and grade data in modeling and evaluation of a copper deposit, case study: the Sarbisheh copper deposit, Iran

This paper addresses the application of integrated chargeability and resistivity method and grade data in modeling and evaluation of copper deposits. We argue that the relationship between IP, Rs and grade data may be used for modeling and reserve estimation and tested this argument for Sarbisheh copper deposit that is located in eastern Iran. Geology and mineralization situation of Sarbisheh d...
