Abstract:

Porous materials are lightweight, flexible and resistant to hairline cracks, so today with the development of technology porous structure produced for use in various industries. This structure widely use in beams, plates and shells. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of porosity in axial symmetry in bending and buckling load sheet for analysis. For this purpose, a circular plate with simply supported edges under uniform radial pressure and vertical pressure distribution is investigated. Mechanical properties of porous sheet are isotropic and variable in thickness direction is considered. Right movement is extended in accordance with the first order shear deformation theory. Then, using the principle of virtual work and applying the calculus of variations, differential equations, and equations for bending sheet stability are achieved, continue using these equations and Galerkin method, bending and buckling of the sheet is calculated. Buckling load is calculated for all types of porosity can be observed with increasing porosity, critical buckling load decreases. Buckling load is calculated for all types of porosity can be observed with increasing porosity, critical buckling load decreases. The distribution of bending stress and deflection analysis sheet was obtained. To verify the results of bending and buckling of the sheet, the results were compared with homogeneous sheet with classical theory.

Nonlocal Bending Analysis of Bilayer Annular/Circular Nano Plates Based on First Order Shear Deformation Theory

In this paper, nonlinear bending analysis of bilayer orthotropic annular/circular graphene sheets is studied based on the nonlocal elasticity theory. The equilibrium equations are derived in terms of generalized displacements and rotations considering the first-order Shear deformation theory (FSDT). The nonlinear governing equations are solved using the differential quadrature method (DQM) whic...

Free vibration and buckling analysis of third-order shear deformation plate theory using exact wave propagation approach

In this paper, wave propagation approach is used to analysis the free vibration and buckling analysis of the thick rectangular plates based on higher order shear deformation plate theory. From wave viewpoint, vibrations can be considered as traveling waves along structures. Waves propagate in a waveguide and reflect at the boundaries. It is assumed that the plate has two opposite edge simply su...

Bending Analysis of Thick Isotropic Plates by Using 5th Order Shear Deformation Theory

A 5th order shear deformation theory considering transverse shear deformation effect as well as transverse normal strain deformation effect is presented for static flexure   analysis of simply supported isotropic plate. The assumed displacement field accounts for non-linear variation of in-plane displacements as well as transverse displacement through the plate thickness. The condition of zero ...

Thermoelastic Analysis of a Functionally Graded Simple Blade Using First-Order Shear Deformation Theory

In this article, the thermo-elastic behavior of a functionally graded simple blade subjected to the mechanical and thermal loadings is presented, applying a semi-analytical method and a variable thickness cantilever beam model. A specific temperature gradient is employed between the root and the edges of the beam. It is assumed that the mechanical and thermal properties are longitudinal directi...

A refined inverse hyperbolic shear deformation theory for bending analysis of functionally graded porous plates

The modern engineering structures require the advanced engineering materials to resist the high temperatures and to provide high stiffness. In particular the functionally graded porous materials (FGPMs) introduced are expected to have these desired properties, consequently eliminating local stress concentration and de-lamination. In the present paper, a new shear strains shape function is chose...
