Periodontal tissue response to iatrogenic factors & management

چکیده
Faults in dental restorations and prostheses is referred to as iatrogenic factors are common causes of gingival inflammation & periodontal destruction. These factors can easily be prevented by careful examination and proper treatment planning of the case. This report describes a case of poorly designed and cemented fixed partial denture ( FPD) & leading to osseous defect. The management included immediate removal of faulty fixed prostheses & phase wise periodontal therapy using bone graft ( Bio-Oss® ) to regenerate the lost supporting structures.
