MedlineDB : An integrated biological text mining framework

چکیده
MedlineDB is a schema and framework for integrating Medline abstracts with common biological organism databases for improved text analysis. The framework utilizes and extends existing, well-known biological database schemata and tools for loading data from various sources and provides utilities to use those sources in several common datamining tasks. MedlineDB brings together the best of features of structured database data with those of free text, and provides a easily extensible platform for retrieving relevant articles based on genes, species, and diseases of interest.
