Development of microelectrode arrays modified with inorganic – organic 3 composite materials for dopamine electroanalysis
نویسندگان
چکیده
23 New electrode materials based on composite inorganic redox material–organic conducting polymer for 24 electroanalysis of dopamine were developed. The composite inorganic–organic coatings based on Prus25 sian blue (PB) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) have been prepared by electrochemical 26 methods onto gold disk microelectrode arrays. Both insoluble and soluble forms of PB were prepared 27 in situ inside the organic matrix and their electrochemical behaviour was investigated in electrolyte solu28 tion. The composite inorganic–organic coating containing the soluble PB form exhibited good electrocat29 alytic activity towards dopamine (DA) oxidation in aqueous buffered solutions. The DA concentration was 30 determined by cyclic voltammetry in the presence of a high excess of ascorbic acid (AA). A linear response 31 for DA concentrations ranging from 10 lM to 50 lM, in the presence of 1 mM AA, with a sensitivity of 32 460 lA/lM and a detection limit of 4.3 lM, have been obtained. 33 2009 Published by Elsevier B.V.

متن کاملDevelopment of Amperometric Biosensors Based on Nanostructured Tyrosinase-Conducting Polymer Composite Electrodes
Bio-composite coatings consisting of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and tyrosinase (Ty) were successfully electrodeposited on conventional size gold (Au) disk electrodes and microelectrode arrays using sinusoidal voltages. Electrochemical polymerization of the corresponding monomer was carried out in the presence of various Ty amounts in aqueous buffered solutions. The bio-composite c...

The present paper aims to miniaturize a graphite-epoxy and synthetic zeolite-modified graphite-epoxy composite macroelectrode as a quasi-microelectrode aiming in vitro and also, envisaging in vivo simultaneous electrochemical detection of dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA) neurotransmitters, or DA detection in the presence of AA. The electrochemical behavior and the response of the designed m...
متن کاملPreparation of Pd composite membrane via organic-inorganic activation method in electroless plating technique
A palladium composite membrane was prepared via electroless plating technique using organic-inorganic method during activation process. The ceramic support surface was modified by two TiO2-boehmite and one γ-alumina layers to avoid Pd penetration in support pores. Thin and defect-free Pd composite membrane was obtained by creating a relative smoothness on the ceramic support and using Pd nanopa...

Dopamine (3, 4-dihydroxyphenyl ethylamine, DA) is one of the most important neurotransmitters in the mammalian central nervous system. This paper presents a new approach to detect dopamine using an electrochemical sensor based on a composite made out of chitosan-stabilized silver nanoparticles and p-toluene sulfonic acid-doped ultrathin polypyrrole film, which exploits the synergy between the c...
