Lmis for Linear Systems Control by Polynomial Methods

چکیده

Linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) prove to be a useful tool for solving several analysis and design problems in linear systems control. However, LMI techniques have mainly been used conjointly with state-space methods. The aim of this paper is to survey several recent achievements that tend to prove that LMI feasibility and optimization problems also arise when dealing with control problems formulated in the algebra of polynomial matrices.

Delay-dependent robust stabilization and $H_{infty}$ control for uncertain stochastic T-S fuzzy systems with multiple time delays

In this paper, the problems of robust stabilization and$H_{infty}$ control for uncertain stochastic systems withmultiple time delays represented by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzymodel have been studied. By constructing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskiifunctional (LKF) and using the bounding techniques, sufficientconditions for the delay-dependent robust stabilization and $H_{infty}$ control scheme are p...

Lmis and Polynomial Methods in Control: Illustrative Examples

Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) are now widely used as a convenient tool for solving a signiicant number of control problems. Probably for historical reasons, LMIs have mainly been used conjointly with state-space methods. Several recent works however tend to prove that polynomial (or algebraic) methods can also rely on LMIs. With the help of simple illustrative examples, the purpose of this ...

Quasi-polynomial and Lotka-Volterra representation in nonlinear systems and control theory

Nonlinear input-affine systems in quasi-polynomial (QP) and Lotka-Volterra (LV) forms are investigated in this paper. It is shown that both the global stability analysis with an entropy-like Lyapunov function candidate and the local quadratic stability region determination can be performed by solving linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The invariance transformations preserving the form of the de...

Guaranteed Cost Analysis and Control for a Class of Uncertain Nonlinear Discrete-Time Systems'

This paper deals with the problem of guaranteed cost analysis and control of a class of nonlinear discrete-time systems with uncertain parameters. We use polynomial Lyapunov functions to derive stability conditions with a guaranteed bound on the 2-norm of the performance output in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). We then extend this approach to control design by considering parameter...

Stability analysis and feedback control of T-S fuzzy hyperbolic delay model for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying delay

In this paper, a new T-S fuzzy hyperbolic delay model for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying delay, is presented to address the problems of stability analysis and feedback control. Fuzzy controller is designed based on the parallel distributed compensation (PDC), and with a new Lyapunov function, delay dependent asymptotic stability conditions of the closed-loop system are derived v...
