چکیده

This paper presents a new concept of continuous-valued logic (Multi level logic) (CVL) which can be applied to control the pulse width of an internally generated PWM in a microcontroller. The input threshold voltage controls duty cycle of generated PWM. The basis of continuous-valued logic (CVL) relies on the unstable generated oscillation of a digital output where the program referred non-Schmitt input, is detecting (0) and (1) values at the stage of Threshold Voltage. Thus, the duty cycle of the respected oscillation defines the position of the input voltage level in the threshold voltage domain, continuously. Each percentage of the duty cycle from 0% up to 100% corresponds to a logic state between 0 and 1. The duty cycle of 50% is considered as logic state "0.5" or "Doing nothing" in Control processes. Defining continuous-valued logic provides extreme logic states. Finally, this concept has applied to a temperature controller. The result is a faster, cheaper and softer controller compare to conventional control techniques.

An Application of Interval Valued Fuzzy Soft Matrix In Medical Diagnosis

Today is a world of uncertainty with its associated problems, which can be well handled by soft set theory. In this paper, we extend sanchez`s approach for medical diagnosis using the representation of an interval valued fuzzy soft matrices. we introduce the definition of union and intersection of Interval valued fuzzy soft matrices with examples. Finally, we extend our approach in application o...

Soft Computing-based New Interval-valued Pythagorean Triangular Fuzzy Multi-criteria Group Assessment Method without Aggregation: Application to a Transport Projects Appraisal

In this paper, an interval-valued Pythagorean triangular fuzzy number (IVPTFN) as a useful tool to handle decision-making problems with vague quantities is defined. Then, their operational laws are developed. By introducing a novel method of making a decision on the concept of possibility theory, a multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem is considered, in which the attribute value...

TREE AUTOMATA BASED ON COMPLETE RESIDUATED LATTICE-VALUED LOGIC: REDUCTION ALGORITHM AND DECISION PROBLEMS

In this paper, at first we define the concepts of response function and accessible states of a complete residuated lattice-valued (for simplicity we write $mathcal{L}$-valued) tree automaton with a threshold $c.$ Then, related to these concepts, we prove some lemmas and theorems that are applied in considering some decision problems such as finiteness-value and emptiness-value of recognizable t...

Complexity issues in basic logic

We survey complexity results concerning a family of propositional many-valued logics. In particular, we shall address satisfiability and tautologousness problems for Hájek’s Basic Logic BL and for several of its schematic extensions. We shall review complexity bounds obtained from functional representation results, as well as techniques for dealing with non-trivial ordinal sums of continuous t-...
