چکیده
Zebrafish is a model organism that has become increasingly popular in recent years due to some of the advantages it when compared traditional organisms. Its genetic similarity with humans contributed significantly elucidation molecular mechanisms underlying diseases. Moreover, external fertilization and rapid embryonic development zebrafish embryos have made attractive many research areas. The genome are found be highly conserved having 76-82 % disease genes also present zebrafish. been used different studies several concepts neurogenesis. Unlike mammals, embryo makes accessible for experimental manipulation central nervous system research. It was observed neurotoxic agents induced similar responses other vertebral models embryos, whose brain blood-brain barrier were those vertebrates. This review provides brief information about availability neurodevelopmental toxicity while giving on embryogenesis neurogenesis Evaluation neurotoxicity specific effects various neurotoxins motor dopaminergic neurons, neuronal proliferation, mobility, neurodevelopment explained.

Daphnia as an Emerging Epigenetic Model Organism
Daphnia offer a variety of benefits for the study of epigenetics. Daphnia's parthenogenetic life cycle allows the study of epigenetic effects in the absence of confounding genetic differences. Sex determination and sexual reproduction are epigenetically determined as are several other well-studied alternate phenotypes that arise in response to environmental stressors. Additionally, there is a l...
متن کاملZebrafish as an Emerging Model Organism to Study Angiogenesis in Development and Regeneration
Angiogenesis is the process through which new blood vessels are formed from preexisting ones and plays a critical role in several conditions including embryonic development, tissue repair and disease. Moreover, enhanced therapeutic angiogenesis is a major goal in the field of regenerative medicine and efficient vascularization of artificial tissues and organs is one of the main hindrances in th...
متن کاملA review of the performance of zebrafish (Danio rerio) as a model organism in nanotoxicological research and its differences with other animal models
Today, nanotechnology is recognized as one of the leading sciences in the world, which manipulates atoms and molecules in order to produce valuable products. Extensive use of nanomaterials in various industrial sectors has increased the possibility of their diffusion in water bodies and the environment. Therefore, the study of toxicity of these substances is considered as one of the research ne...
متن کاملZebrafish as model organism for drug discovery and toxicity testing: A review
Accepted: 01/09/2014 Abstract The zebrafish (Danio rerio) has become a widely used vertebrate model organism for drug discovery because of its high fecundity, transparent embryos and larvae, morphological and physiological similarity to mammals, allowing in vivo analysis of embryogenesis and organogenesis combined with ease of use and low cost. This review contain background on zebrafish as mod...
متن کاملLarge-Scale Assessment of the Zebrafish Embryo as a Possible Predictive Model in Toxicity Testing
BACKGROUND In the drug discovery pipeline, safety pharmacology is a major issue. The zebrafish has been proposed as a model that can bridge the gap in this field between cell assays (which are cost-effective, but low in data content) and rodent assays (which are high in data content, but less cost-efficient). However, zebrafish assays are only likely to be useful if they can be shown to have hi...
