چکیده
This remote sensing study compares growth occurring in three urban types between 2005 and 2014: peri-urban, rural urban, a fast-growing metropolitan region west of Mexico City. Future for the period 2014–24 is modelled using land-use/cover change (LUCC) model Geomod. Urban expansion correlated with some socio-territorial factors impacts are assessed loss biomass. In both periods, zone differed most from other two terms expansion. The Geomod predictions overestimate underestimate it peri-urban zones. Significant differences exist average main drivers were elevation, population density, distance to previous land roads. A substantial biomass due growth, including infill. research reveals significant areas, contributes spatial information designing focused land-use policies dynamic contexts.
