The Profile Analysis of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) from Sumbawa White Honey and Its Potential Producing Antibacterial Compounds

Honey acts as an antibacterial without side effects, and also contains antiseptic substances which function to inhibit bacterial growth. This study aimed isolate the Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) in Sumbawa white honey bioactive compounds produced pathogenic antibacteria. The 1st stage this was isolation of lactic acid bacteria honey, then continued with a grading test, morphological catalase methyl red last namely antimicrobial test against 5 (Salmonellatyhposa, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Enterobacter ludwigii, Leclerciaadecarboxylata). Data analysis performed using Analysis variance (ANOVA) at confidence level 0.05 SPSS 24. Based on results sequencing analysis, it found that selected isolates were Enterococcus faecium species. species obtained from had different strains. accession numbers were: Isolate-03 percentage 97.29 % (accession number: KU324920.1), Isolate-07 has percent identity 97.36 MF108201.1), Isolate-09 97.73 CP041261.3), Isolate-20 96.40 MN511819.1), Isolate-24 98.61 KM495938.1). These can growth all tested treated 100 LAB metabolites not significantly (p > 0.05) compared positive control (Ampicillin).
