The Paddy Procurement System for Sustainability: Evidence from Bangladesh Agriculture Sector

Bangladesh derives one-half of its agricultural GDP and one-sixth national income from paddy. It is crucial to the farmers’ ability survive. This paper aims investigate current paddy procurement system farmer awareness in Bangladeshi sector ensure business sustainability. utilised a quantitative approach research. The research investigated consciousness through perception contentment. For measurement, survey 210 farmers three Upazilas was conducted using closed-ended, pre-tested questionnaire. Version 20 SPSS programme used for data analysis. Approximately 67.6% respondents were unhappy with system, according study. 69.10% believe there middleman approximately 94.30% needs improvement, 99.0% new could be beneficial. Furthermore, these findings led conclusion that room improvement which will increase transparency sustainability activities everyone, including farmers.
