The dsRNA Delivery, Targeting and Application in Pest Control

RNA interference (RNAi) is a simple and rapid method for silencing genes in various organisms, it widely used gene function genetics research. RNAi has been developed as novel pest management strategy. Double-stranded RNAs (dsRNAs) delivered via microinjection, ingestion, or soaking are effective insect pests, whereas oral topical delivery methods feasible field applications. Here, we summarize delivery, of dsRNA target genes, including those involved energy metabolism, synthesis essential cellular components, hormone homeostasis, chitin the digestive system, immunity, detoxification, insecticide resistance, other processes. pesticides have form genetically modified (GM) crops expressing dsRNAs well applied foliar sprays.
