چکیده
In the present work, a two-stage biohydrometallurgical process for copper extraction from waste PCBs is developed. The main goal of this study to check whether separate chemical leaching with ferric iron regeneration agent by bacterial oxidation ferrous an efficient route recovery PCBs. To test proposal, large pieces were retained in stirred tank reactor (STR) contact liquor circulating at high flow rate between STR and bioreactor. kinetics PCB pieces, when added excess over stoichiometric requirements, limited mass transfer agent. A heterogeneous kinetic model was proposed fit experimental data. It also found that increasing concentration increased. Process separation has proven be promising configuration which productivity bioreactor fulfilled demand 90% achieved 48 h

The most Efficient Path Algorithm from Feeders to PCBs
SMT(Surface Mount Technology) machines are used to place electronic components onto a PCB(Printed Circuit Board). This study proposes a method of identifying the fastest path for picked up components to pass by a camera without stopping before being placed onto PCBs. The proposed method enables the gantry, responsible for moving the heads, to pass by the camera in the least amount of time possi...
متن کاملA simple method for the recovery of selenium from copper anode slime sample using alkaline roasting process
The recovery of selenium from Iranian sar-cheshmeh copper anode slime has been investigated. Copper anode slimes are containing varying precious metals, such as: gold, silver, selenium and tellurium. They are being extracted as a by-product in the production process. Arsenic and antimony that present in anode slimes dissolved in 0.4 M KOH. Then, the alkaline roasting of anode slimes in the pres...

A novel electrochemical device was used to recover copper metal from an inorganic chemicals process effluent. In a sidestream pilot-plant demonstration, the copper content was continuously reduced from an average of 20 mg/l to less than 2 mg/l. The basic concepts, laboratory testing, and pilot-plant demonstration are described. General Future water-pollution regulations may require effluent con...

ELECTROLYTIC RECOVERY OF COPPER FROM CHELATED WASTE STREhMS
Electroless plating is a chemical reduction process which depends upon the catalytic reduction of a metallic ion in an aqueous solution containing a reducing agent without the use of electricity (1). Cahill (2) showed that the cupric ion could be reduced autocatalytically with formaldehyde in an alkaline solution. Okinaka (3 ) established that the overall reaction of the catalytic copper platin...
