چکیده
This paper presents an experimental study on the tensile behavior of basalt-fiber-grid-reinforced mortar (BGRM) before and after exposure to elevated temperature 300 °C considering effect fiber grid type, short polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), high-temperature time. The results show that plates reinforced with woven textile T25 fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) G50 exhibited more pronounced strain-hardening behavior. highest peak stress was obtained for T25-reinforced plate, which 85% 32% higher than T5- G50-reinforced plates, respectively. Meanwhile, bridging PVA fibers in can improve properties. As time increased, cracking BGRM decreased significantly. Especially T5-reinforced plate 2 h, by 60.5% 38%, positive properties became obsolete owing melting at high temperature. Furthermore, exponential strength degradation model related proposed.

متن کاملSilane-Treated Basalt Fiber–Reinforced Poly(butylene succinate) Biocomposites: Interfacial Crystallization and Tensile Properties
In this work, an economical modifier silane agent—KH550—was used for surface treatment of basalt fiber. Then, a biodegradable poly(butylene succinate) (PBS)/modified basalt fiber (MBF) biocomposite was successfully developed. The effects of silane treatment and fiber mass content on crystalline structure, isothermal crystallization process and mechanical performance of composites were evaluated...
متن کاملAccelerated Heat Aging Study of Phenolic/Basalt Fiber Reinforced Composites
One of the greatest impediments to use polymer-matrix composites is their susceptibility to degradation when exposed to the elevated temperatures and the limited knowledge on the thermal and mechanical properties of these composites at such temperatures. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of accelerated heat aging on the tensile properties of the Woven Basalt/Phenolic (WBP) ...
متن کاملCompressive Behavior of Recycled Mortar After Exposure to High Temperatures
The possibility of using fine recycled concrete aggregate as a substitute for natural sand are relatively limited. In order to promote it for engineering application, this paper reports the effect of elevated temperatures from room temperature to 600C on the compressive behavior of mortars containing recycled fine concrete aggregate was investigated. It is found that no obvious relation between...
