Turkey is one of the rare countries which have significantly reduced infant mortality in recent years while it still lacks behind when compared to some countries. Thus, this study, was aimed determine socio-economic causes Turkey. In context, percentage women with university degrees, health expenditure household expenditures, GINI coefficient, poverty rate, fertility and urban population were considered as independent variables that could possibly affect mortality.
