Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a serious clinicopathological condition that recognized as the most frequent chronic disease, affecting 14–30% of world’s population. The prevalence NAFLD has rapidly grown and correlated with growth in obesity type 2 diabetes, among other factors. often results long-term complications including cardiovascular cirrhosis, fibrosis. This paper provides an updated overview focus on epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, screening, complications, pharmacological therapies to identify effective risk prevention health promotion.
