Report of Four Cases and Literature Review of Psoas Abscess

Abstract Objective: To report four psoas abscess cases which we treated and review the challenges to management of in Yaoundé 2022. Method: Four patients who were diagnosed with our hospitals between 2021 2022 evaluated retrospectively. Results: All discharged after an average 14.5 days following surgical treatments, parietal suppuration was noted one needed two attemps initial failure percutaneous drainage. Conclusion: Psoas abscesses are rare, believe that incidence these is more frequent recent years due improvements radiological imaging methods fact tests used frequently by clinicians.
