Reconstruction of a Forearm Radiation Ulcer Using an Anterolateral Thigh Flap: A Case Report

We present a rare case of forearm radiation ulcer. Recently, technological advances in intravascular treatments involving X-ray radiography have enabled the application this treatment more patients. This has caused frequent problems due to ulcers. Here we report 54-year-old man who developed an ulcer on his left six months after placing stent graft treat abdominal aortic aneurysm. A was diagnosed because distance between position and pigment deposition lateral region following pathological findings: coagulative necrosis fibrinoid degeneration narrowing lumen small blood vessels. The treated by debridement (skin defect size, 22 × 10 cm), followed reconstruction with anterolateral thigh flap (23 12 cm). Cosmetic functional improvements were observed, latter indicated increased range motion.
