This recent developments outline discusses, and provides context to understand the significance of, most important judicial decisions administrative rulings regulations promulgated by Internal Revenue Service Treasury Department during 2007 — sometimes a little farther back in time if we find item particularly humorous or outrageous. Most Regulations, however, are so complex that they cannot bediscussed detail and, anyway, only devout masochist would read them all way through; just basic topic fundamental principles highlighted. Amendments Code generally not discussed except extent (1) of major significance, (2) have led regulations, (3) affected previously issued otherwise covered outline, (4) provide Dan Marty opportunity mock our elected representatives. The focuses primarily on topics broad general interest (to three us, at least) – income tax accounting rules, determination gross income, allowable deductions, treatment capital gains losses, corporate partnership taxation, exempt organizations, procedure penalties. It deals summarily with qualified pension profit sharing plans, does deal international taxation specialized industries, such as banking, insurance, financial services.
