چکیده
Automated systems based on wearable sensors for livestock monitoring are becoming increasingly popular. Specifically, wireless in-body could yield relevant data, such as ruminal temperature. The collection of data requires an accurate characterization the in-to-out body channel between sensor and gateway. aim this study is to experimentally characterize in-to-out-body propagation loss cows horses at 433, 868, 1400 MHz. Measurements were conducted in vivo five different fistulated horse cadavers using specialized robust capsule antennas inside animals' abdomen. Next, antenna gain was deembedded from channel, obtained difference measured unobstructed line-of-sight path losses losses. measurements showed a (mean ± standard deviation) 30.8 4.1 dB, 44.5 4.8 54.2 4.7 dB MHz, respectively. For horses, 23.2 3.8 31.0 44.4 3.2 These results important determine range WBANs optimize network topology estimate associated cost large-scale systems.

Radio Propagation Modeling on 433 MHz
In wireless network design and positioning it is essential to use radio propagation models for the applied frequency and environment. There are many propagation models available for both indoor and outdoor environments; however, they are not applicable for 433 MHz ISM frequency, which is perfectly suitable for smart metering and sensor networking applications. During our work, we gathered the m...
متن کامل868 MHz Wireless Sensor Network - A Study
Today 2.4 GHz based wireless sensor networks are increasing at a tremendous pace, and are seen in widespread applications. Product innovation and support by many vendors in 2.4 GHz makes it a preferred choice, but the networks are prone to issues like interference, and range issues. On the other hand, the less popular 868 MHz in the ISM band has not seen significant usage. In this paper we expl...
متن کاملA 1400-MHz pilot search for young pulsars
We have used the Effelsberg 100-m radio telescope to conduct a 1400-MHz (λ 21-cm) search for young and rapidly rotating radio pulsars along a 2 deg2 strip of the northern Galactic plane defined by 28◦ ≤ l ≤ 30◦ and |b| ≤ 0.5◦. This region lies close to the Scutum spiral arm which is already known to contain a number of radio and X–ray pulsars. The search was nominally sensitive to pulsars with ...
متن کاملCo-propagation of maser emission at 1720 and 4765 MHz
MERLIN observations are presented of OH 4765-MHz and OH 1720-MHz masers in the massive star-forming region W3(OH). Two of the three intense spots of maser emission at 4765 MHz are spatially coincident with two similar spots at 1720 MHz in both left-hand circular (LHC) and right-hand circular (RHC) polarizations, to an accuracy of 15 mas. The spots also overlap in velocity when allowance is made...
متن کاملDynamic 3-D Indoor Radio Propagation Model and Applications with Radios from 433 MHZ to 2.4 GHz
Proliferation of indoor sensor infrastructure has created a new niche for mobile communications, yet research in indoor radio propagation still has not generated a definite model that is able to 1) precisely capture radio signatures in 3-D environments and 2) effectively apply to radios at a wide range of frequency bands. This paper first introduces the impact of wall obstructions on indoor rad...
