Probing the inflationary background of gravitational waves from large to small scales

چکیده
The detection of Primordial Gravitational Waves (PGWs) is one the most important goals modern cosmology since PGWs can both provide substantial evidence for primordial inflation and shed light on its physical nature. Small scale experiments gravitational waves such as LIGO/VIRGO and, in future, LISA Einstein Telescope (ET), being sensitive to stochastic background waves, be used together with CMB data constrain inflationary parameters. In performing these analyses tensor spectrum usually parametrized a power law that includes only amplitude independent tilt. this paper, we investigate robustness assuming tilt independent. We show due huge difference scales probed by GWs data, even small dependence remarkably affect shape possibly breaking power-law assumption. When non-linear corrections are considered final constraints significantly changed. also study two different models providing an example negligible non-negligible dependence.

Detectability of Inflationary Gravitational Waves with Microwave Background Polarization
Inflation predicts specific relations between the amplitudes and spectral indices of the primordial spectrum of density (scalar metric) perturbations and gravitational waves (tensor metric perturbations). Detection of a stochastic gravitational-wave background is essential for identifying this unmistakable signature. Polarization of the cosmic microwave background can isolate these tensor modes...
متن کاملRed density perturbations and inflationary gravitational waves
We study the implications of recent indications from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) and other cosmological data for a red spectrum of primordial density perturbations for the detection of inflationary gravitational waves (IGWs) with forthcoming cosmic microwave background experiments. We consider a variety of single-field power-law, chaotic, spontaneous symmetry-breaking and Co...
متن کاملCBR anisotropy from primordial gravitational waves in inflationary cosmologies.
We examine stochastic temperature fluctuations of the cosmic background radiation (CBR) arising via the Sachs-Wolfe effect from gravitational wave perturbations produced in the early universe. These temperature fluctuations are described by an angular correlation function C(γ). A new (more concise and general) derivation of C(γ) is given, and evaluated for inflationary-universe cosmologies. Thi...
متن کاملfrom linguistics to literature: a linguistic approach to the study of linguistic deviations in the turkish divan of shahriar
chapter i provides an overview of structural linguistics and touches upon the saussurean dichotomies with the final goal of exploring their relevance to the stylistic studies of literature. to provide evidence for the singificance of the study, chapter ii deals with the controversial issue of linguistics and literature, and presents opposing views which, at the same time, have been central to t...
15 صفحه اولLISA: Probing the Universe with Gravitational Waves
Thanks to the many other members and friends of the LISA science community who provided valuable input and suggestions. The New Science of Gravitational Waves Einstein's theory of spacetime and gravity, general relativity, predicts that motions of mass produce propagating vibrations that travel through spacetime at the speed of light. These gravita-tional waves (as the vibrations are called) ar...
