Oral health curriculum evaluation tool (OHCET) for primary care training programs

Abstract Background Primary care training schools and programs lack a validated tool to assess their oral health curriculum, researchers compare curricula across programs/schools different disciplines. Objective This study describes the process results of creating 15‐item curriculum evaluation (OHCET). Methods Three‐phased development OHCET from 2018 2020 including (a) Delphi group/tool development; (b) pilot test; (c) validation/cognitive interviews. Results A total 23 program deans/directors participated in Summarizing accuracy scores all 15 items, mean score was 87.1. There high correlation (0.917) between program's director's self‐assessed competence learners at time graduation. Conclusions The can be used primary country for institutional research purposes. Program directors deans also have some confidence that ability subjectively learner's knowledge skills graduation is accurate.
