Open-Source Code for Radium-Derived Ocean-Groundwater Modeling: Project Open RaDOM
نویسندگان
چکیده
Radium has been commonly used as a tracer of submarine groundwater discharge to the ocean and embankments, radium activities are input into box models calculate flux. Similarly, isotopes (Ra224, Ra223, Ra226, Ra228) have water mass ages, which proxy for residence times. Less commonly, other tracers utilized in mixing determine relative contribution marine system. In literature, all these methods almost exclusively solved using analytical prone large errors issues. Project Open RaDOM, introduced here, is collection open-source R scripts that numerically solve flux, time, coastal systems. Solving allows over-constrained systems increase their accuracy force real solutions. The written way make them user-friendly, even scientists unfamiliar with R. This communication includes description discussion examples case studies previously published data.
