Nonstrange quark stars within resummed QCD

چکیده
The recently developed resummation technique known as {\it renormalization group optimized perturbation theory} (RGOPT) is employed in the evaluation of EoS describing non-strange cold quark matter at NLO. Inspired by recent investigations, which suggest that stable can be made only up and down quarks, mass-radius relation for two flavor pure stars evaluated compared with predictions from perturbative QCD (pQCD) NNLO. This comparison explicitly shows being imbued properties, a variational optimization procedure, method allows an efficient series. Remarkably, when scale chosen so to reproduce maximum mass M=$2-2.3M_\odot$, one obtains curve compatible masses radii pulsars PSR J0740+6620, J0030+0451, compact object HESS J1731-347. Moreover, dependence (and relation) obtained RGOPT greatly improved pQCD. seminal application description represents robust alternative pQCD compressed matter.

Convergence and Gauge Dependence Properties of the Resummed One-loop Quark-Quark Scattering Amplitude in Perturbative QCD
The one-loop QCD effective charge α s for quark-quark scattering is derived by diagrammatic resummation of the one-loop amplitude using an arbitary covariant gauge. Except for the particular choice of gauge parameter ξ = −3, α s is found to increase with increasing physical scale, Q, as lnQ or ln Q. For ξ = −3, α s decreases with increasing Q and satisfies a renormalisation group equation. Also...
متن کاملQcd Deconfinement – Phase Transitions and Collapsing Quark Stars
In this paper we discuss the QCD phase-transitions in the nontopological soliton model of quark confinement and explore possible astrophysical consequences. Our key idea is to look at quark stars (which are believed to exist since the quark matter is energetically preferred over the ordinary matter) from the point of view of soliton model. We propose that the phase transition taking place durin...
متن کاملQuark number susceptibilities from HTL-resummed thermodynamics
We compute analytically the diagonal quark number susceptibilities for a quarkgluon plasma at finite temperature and zero chemical potential, and compare with recent lattice results. The calculation uses the approximately self-consistent resummation of hard thermal and dense loops that we have developed previously. For temperatures between 1.5 to 5Tc , our results follow the same trend as the l...
متن کاملStrange quark stars within the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model
We investigate the properties of charge–neutral β–equilibrium cold quark matter within the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model. The calculations are carried out for different ratios of coupling constants characterizing the vector and scalar 4–fermion interaction, ξ ≡ GV /GS . It is shown that for ξ < 0.4 matter is self–bound and for ξ < 0.65 it has a first order phase transition of the liquid– gas type. T...
متن کاملThe resummed quark form factor in dimensional regularization
The resummed expression for the quark form factor illustrates the fact that dimensional continuation provides a regularization not only for ultraviolet and infrared singularities of fixed order QCD amplitudes, but also for the Landau pole arising in resummed calculations. Explicit renormalization group invariant analytic expressions for the logarithm of the form factor are given up to two–loop ...
