چکیده
The current work was conducted to unveil the situation for infection by Theileria annulata in cattle Al-Hilla City, Iraq. A total of 225 blood samples (200 from suspected infected animals and 25 clinically healthy as a control group) were collected. These subjected direct slide-smearing detection using microscope DNA sequencing, targeting cytochrome b (Cyt b) gene 10 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) products. thin smear findings 200 cases revealed that 63 (31.5%) with spp., while 115 (57.5%) had no but other parasites; however, only 22 (11%) showed presence any parasites. Unsurprisingly, group demonstrated parasite. Moreover, sequencing spp. belonged T. species, these sequences nucleotide-based similar Gene-Bank isolates Tunisia (ON035604, ON035605, ON035606, ON035607, ON035608, ON035609, ON035610, ON035611, ON035612, ON035613). present study outcomes indicate theileriosis is dominant parasitic City highly caused annulata.

The present study aimed to estimate the molecular prevalence of Theileria annulata and Trypanosoma evansi infection in cattle in Northern Tunisia. A total number of 96 cattle from five farms were evaluated. T. annulata and T. evansi prevalences were 61% [56/66] and 10% [7/13], respectively, at a confidence interval (CI) of 95%, while co-infection was present in 6% [4/8] of the tested animals at...

More than 185 species, strains and unclassified Theileria parasites are categorized in the Entrez Taxonomy. The accurate diagnosis and proper identification of the causative agents are important for understanding the epidemiology, prevention and appropriate treatment. This study aims to discuss the importance of two genes of Theileria annulata 18S ribosomal RNA (18S rRNA) and Theileria annulata...
متن کاملDetection of Theileria annulata carrier cattle by PCR.
A simple method for treating bovine blood samples for direct detection of T. annulata in carriers, after polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification of small subunit ribosomal RNA (SSU rRNA) gene is described. The threshold of detection of the PCR-assay was an erythrocytic parasitaemia of 0.00008% corresponding to 16 infected bovine erythrocytes. In 50 known carriers, 42 were positive in PCR,...
