Mining Ground Deformation Estimation Based on Pre-Processed InSAR Open Data—A Norwegian Case Study

چکیده
Sublevel caving mining causes surface deformation in three distinct zones parallel to the extracted deposit. Most of published research is focused on extent caved and fracture zones. The largest, continuous zone and, thus, influence mine its surroundings not yet fully documented. This study aimed at assessing caused by a steep iron ore deposit Norway. For this purpose, an innovative combination permanent scatterer (PS) InSAR technique line-of-sight (LOS) movement data provided public web service geographic information system (GIS) spatial interpolation methods was proposed. Two ascending tracks’ (A102 A175) datasets spanning period 3 June 2016–11 October 2021 were used. Three methods, inverse distance weighted (IDW), radial basis function (RBF) ordinary kriging (OK), analysed terms their performance for mapping deformation. RBF OK with anisotropy returned lowest root mean square error (RMSE) values. obtained difference maximum amounted 26 m track A102 dataset 44.5 A175 dataset, depending method estimated hanging-wall side sublevel operation 663 m. corresponds limit angle 38.7 degrees, which lower than previously studies. results show that can be greater thought. usefulness PSInSAR available from national online determining area terrain deformations has been proven. proposed approach provides low-cost alternative complementation surveys performed about it argued should implemented as part mine’s monitoring system.
